A US company’s European distribution center and assembly plant is the first building in a new commercial center in Saintes, France. The rigid structural bay size and module required for assembly and storage is contrasted by the curved masonry wall which follows the site perimeter and terminates in a rotated tower housing the administration. The trellised roof deck of the tower houses a barbecue oven. Colors and materials are used to reinforce the basic concept.
