Texas Society of Architects Honor Award 1975

A multi-purpose modular structure houses garage, maintenance area, woodworking shop and a small apartment. Commissioned by an artists’ community the design utilized surplus materials from a performance stage and was built by unskilled labor in a traditional barn-raising process. Colors were used to integrate the large structure into the natural landscape.
