The design for this 26,000 square foot YWCA establishes a 350 foot long support building housing administrative, classroom and changing room functions, attached to which are two pavilions. One of these is a multi-purpose room while the other is an indoor swimming pool. The space between the two pavilions and the support building, where all the vertical and horizontal circulation is concentrated, is designed as an indoor plaza. Colors and materials reinforce the basic concept.
